About the North East District

We believe that the Lord Jesus inaugurated His universal kingdom on the Day of His ascension back into Trinitarian glory at the Father’s right hand. Also, we believe His Spirit is with us, assuring us of Jesus’ personal glorious return, to assume His full kingly rights over the earth and its inhabitants. Until that Day, we labor with His mighty power, seeking to demonstrate His present Lordship by being a community of people reflecting His image and Person.

The NE District of the IPCC works to give continuing emphasis on the New Testament apostolic pattern by teaching and preaching that all believers are to be baptized into the Holy Spirit and fire. This baptism enables each one to more effectively minister in the power of the Spirit with accompanying signs and wonders. Also, such manifestations of the Spirit enhances the local churches worship services, outreach ministries, and daily living. This experience links us, in greater detail, with the first believers and apostles.

It is our belief that true Christian organization most be borne along by real Christian organism, i.e., Christ’s Body the Church. Our existence as a section of the larger whole of the IPCC is to support the whole fellowship. While doing this, our purpose as a district is to provide fellowship, synergy, accountability, resource sharing, and ultimately,

Kingdom Establishment in and with our local churches and communities. For us, to not bring societal transformation by reconciling individuals to God through Christ, we fail. To this end then we labor. Will you work with us in this task?

Some of our churches date back into the 1930s, being the very successive generation to the first Pentecostals. We seek to honor that heritage in devotion to Christ, holiness and experiential Christianity.
